AHFA announced that John Bray, CEO of Vanguard Furniture, Hickory, N.C., was elected 2010 chairman of the American Home Furnishings Alliance during the organization’s Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., November 5-7. 

Bob Duncan, CEO of American Leather, Dallas, has moved to first vice chairman. Jeff Cook, president of Broyhill Furniture, Lenoir, N.C., was elected second vice chairman.  

Bruce Bradburn, CEO of Bradburn Gallery, Atlanta, has moved to immediate past-chairman of the AHFA Board of Directors. The officers assume their new posts January 1, 2010. 

Members newly elected to serve three-year terms on the AHFA Board of Directors include:  Noel Chitwood, American of Martinsville, Martinsville, Va.; Bill Colegrove, aspenhome, Phoenix, Ariz.; Doug Collier, La-Z-Boy Inc., Monroe, Mich.;  Stefanie Lucas, Rowe Fine Furniture, McLean, Va.; Allan Palecek, Palecek, Richmond, Calif.; Glenn Prillaman, Stanley Furniture, Stanleytown, Va.; George Revington, Home Meridian International, High Point, N.C.; Ralph Scozzafava, Furniture Brands International, St. Louis, Mo.; Henry Vanderminden, Telescope Casual, Granville, N.Y.; and Todd Wanek, Ashley Furniture Inds., Arcadia, Wisc.
