As part of its consumer focused marketing efforts, Broyhill announced the following personnel changes.
 
Lisa Hanly has joined Furniture Brands as a Senior Brand Manager, reporting to Dan Markenson, Director of Customer Marketing. Lisa is focused on building brand awareness and developing consumer facing marketing programs for Broyhill. Lisa comes to us from Brown Shoe Company where she was the Director of Marketing at shoes.com, an online shoe retailer and had previously spent 15 years as the Brand Director of Dr. Scholl’s footwear, one of the largest shoe brands in the United States.
 
Lisa will be involved in designing and developing Broyhill’s consumer ad campaigns and promotions, building awareness and driving traffic to broyhillfurniture.com, brand communications and public relations efforts and working with the marketing team to support all sales and marketing programs.

 
In a related change, Kristin Hawkins is taking on a new role as New Product Development Stage Gate Manager for Broyhill, reporting to Debbie Beers at a corporate level, and Jeff Cook at the Broyhill brand level. She will lead a multi-functional new product development team through the Stage Gate Process, which requires all new products meet specific consumer, customer, financial and operational criteria to progress through each stage of product development.
 
Kristin’s new duties include facilitating multi-functional team meetings to integrate marketing, sales, finance, merchandising and consumer insights inputs into Broyhill’s new product strategic direction. She will also collaborate with the Consumer Insights and Merchandising teams to assemble materials for consumer testing, track sourcing, capacity, and financial metrics preparing for commercial launch, as well as post-launch reporting and tracking.
 
Kristin has been with Broyhill for three years and previously worked on the marketing team managing media and public relations.
