E.S. Kluft Boosts Production Capacity With Expansion of California Factory

E.S. Kluft & Co., which produces luxury mattresses under the Kluft and Aireloom brand names, reports that it has added 42,000 square feet to its factory here to accommodate increased demand for its products. The additional space boosts the total size of the facility to 130,000 square feet and gives the company more production capacity, as well as a new showroom, dedicated sales and marketing offices and an in-house photography studio.

“The factory’s new layout allowed us to optimize our workflow and increase our overall capacity for future growth,” said Luciano Saldana, vice president of operations for Kluft. “In building designing the updated floor plan, we were able to improve manufacturing efficiencies and productivity throughout our product lines, which will allow us to service our retail partners better.”

“The luxury mattress segment is growing at a rapid pace, and our consistent, year-over-year sales growth dictates our need for extra production capacity,” said Alain Rauh, acting chief executive officer of E.S. Kluft, adding that the company’s attention to detail and focus on hand craftsmanship have helped drive double-digit sales growth annually for the past several years.
