Abbyson Expands Global Manufacturing with New Vietnam Operations

Abbyson recently announced that it has expanded its global operational footprint with the opening of a new Vietnam office located in prime business quarters, enabling Abbyson to have local representation for its Global Supply Chain and manufacturing capabilities.
The newly established office will oversee all current factories and future factories in Vietnam. Production capacity is anticipated at 400 containers per month, along with 5,000+ outbound shipments each month.
Company executives cite this strategic expansion supports Abbyson's sourcing efforts to build a stronger Global Supply Chain Network and will drive continuous quality improvements on all products manufactured in Vietnam. Abbyson now has four quality control offices in Asia and twenty-six quality control managers overseas, employed by the company directly.
"With this expansion and local staff established, we will strategically further our Quality Control initiatives through Abbyson's Quality Management System (QMS) to increase efficiency in terms of quality, delivery and overall factory accountability on all Abbyson products. This will enable our continued growth to meet and exceed our loyal customers' expectations," said Yavar Rafieha, President of Abbyson. "Furthermore, this local presence allows us to optimize relationship management with current and future suppliers."
Abbyson has design teams in both its U.S. offices as well as in Vietnam. Product categories manufactured will include Bedroom, Case Goods, Dining, Entertainment, Occasional and Upholstery products.
