Purecare Expands to New 120,000 Sq.Ft. Headquarters in Arizona

PureCare recently announced that it is moving to a new 120,000 square foot company headquarters facility in Phoenix, AZ. The company’s former home base was 20,000 square feet, so this move provides a six-time expansion in space. According to company president and COO Jeff Bergman, the new facility will provide corporate space housing company executives, finance, order entry, customer service, information technology, importing, logistics and a new pillow manufacturing plant. Additionally, the new facility will have a corporate showroom, which will allow PureCare sales executives to demonstrate to customers the full array of the company’s “sleep essentials” including protectors, sheets and pillows. The new headquarters will also offer state-of-the art computer and networking systems, as well as fully modernized racking equipment featuring a complete pick and pack inventory management system to meet all customers’ direct fulfillment and retail customer service requirements.

Taking an important step towards future expansion in the US market, PureCare will now operate a new 30,000 square foot pillow manufacturing space The cutting edge computerized pillow blowing machinery will be capable of blowing fiber, ball fiber, Microfiber, shredded visco-elastic foam and latex rubber foam, as well as a combination of shredded foam and fiber, according to Bergman. He expects that the start-up capacity will be at approximately 4,000 pillows per day but will expand to an overall production rate of as many as 20,000 pillows a day.

Chief Marketing Officer Sean Bergman explains that PureCare outgrew its old 20,000 square foot facility almost immediately. The new 120,000 square foot plant gives the company the vital space it needs to adapt and to grow as needed. Equally as exciting is the fact that it creates new jobs right here in the US. Jeff Bergman says that there will be 25 office jobs and approximately 15 warehouse positions. As for new US manufacturing jobs in the pillow operation, Bergman expects that they will start off with 15 jobs and they will grow to 60 pillow manufacturing jobs at the new plant.
