Therepedic recently announced that at the upcoming High Point Market, the company will introduce a new and enhanced Tommy Bahama line of sleep systems, as well as a new super-premium specialty line called Buoyancy by Therapedic.

Some of the new innerspring and hybrid models in Therapedic’s Tommy Bahama line offer the iFlex Hybrid Quilt (patent pending), which features over 2,000 micro coils integrated into the quilt.

“This unique design, said to be the world’s first hybrid quilt, provides unparalleled support, durability, and breathability making iFlex the most exciting new innovation in the bedding market”, said Susan Mathes, Therapedic VP of Brand Relations.

The new Tommy Bahama collection starts at $799 in queen size and goes to $1,799, said Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic president/CEO.

Specifically, the line features eight innerspring models that retail from $799 to $1,799 with an additional four smooth-top hybrid models retailing from $1,199-$1,799.

“We have an exotic, new look for the Tommy Bahama beds, and we’ve added exciting new features such as MemoryTouch® cool foam, Energex foam and copper-infused memory foam for superior comfort, moisture control and cooling that will allow retailers to talk about adding value with consumers,” said Borreggine.

Discussing the new Buoyancy sleep systems, Borreggine said that they have been specifically designed to be a limited distribution product.

The upscale line, which boasts three ultra-premium specialty foam constructions, features high-density and unique foam designs as the hallmark of this collection, according to Borreggine

A long list of features, including copper gel, superior antimicrobial properties, the comfort of memory gel coupled with the bounce of latex and superior open cell technology all serve to offer a decidedly superior sleep experience.

“This is a product line that will look, feel, and project an aura of high-end bedding. It will be made available to a very select group of retailers, or perhaps, even just one retailer,” Borreggine said.
