High Point Market Authority Announces New Buyer Tour for Fall Market 2017

The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) recently announced that it has again partnered with Soft Design Lab for the production of a new buyer tour for Fall Market (October 14-18). Developed with the intent of bringing new buyers to Market, the tour will include a multi-day schedule of showroom visits, educational events and networking opportunities, designed to provide participants with a multi-faceted, comprehensive view of the millions of square-footage that is High Point Market.
Returning for its sixth Market, the “VIP #HPMKT Experience” is produced and hosted by industry experts Deb Barrett and Jackie Von Tobel of Soft Design Lab, an online base camp and creative community dedicated to providing advanced education on soft furnishings design and business. The 6-day, 5-night tour is geared towards those new to Market or who haven’t been within the past few markets. Including four star accommodations, private luncheons and dinners, a multitude of showroom presentations, a daily educational schedule and a plethora of social and networking events, the tour is a must-do introduction to Market.
Elizabeth MacPhail of Liz MacPhail Interiors joined the tour for Spring Market 2017. “What a whirlwind... I’m inspired, challenged to think about my business differently, full of new and diverse resources and armed with connections with other women in the business to help challenge and encourage each other,” she commented. Mary Crane of Mary Crane Interiors, who was also part of the Spring 2017 tour, added, “It surpassed my expectations by a mile; I'll be on a ‘High Point’ high for days!”
