Holley's Home Furnishings Helps Show House Come to Life

Furniture World News Desk on 8/7/2017

Universal Furniture recently announced that the Country Living Magazine Lake House of the Year on Lake Martin wrapped up a successful launch and tour season, thanks in part to Holley's Home Furnishings. The Alabama-based company was the local retail partner for the home’s furnishings provided by Universal Furniture.

Led by owner and CEO Ralph Holley, the retailer has stores in Montgomery and Alexander City, the latter which serves the Lake Martin area.

“It’s been great to have a house close by where consumers could visit and see our furnishings in use,” said Holley. “Inspirational settings help them kick start new projects in their own homes.”

From June 26 through July 9 nearly 1,000 visitors toured the show house, which raised more than $10,000 for Children’s Harbor, an organization that serves seriously ill children and their families.

Located on Lake Martin in central Alabama, the 2,897-square-foot house features furnishings from Universal’s Curated and Authenticity collections in the living, dining and game room.

“Ralph and his team have been supportive of this project at every level,” said Universal Furniture Director of Marketing Neil MacKenzie. “And we’re fortunate to have a retail partner so close to Lake Martin.”

In addition to furnishing the home, Universal has a full-page ad in the July/August issue of the magazine and is being featured in promotions on the Country Living website and in the publication’s digital outreach to subscribers.
