Linda Tracy Honored As Shifman Mattresses 2017 Salesperson Of The Year

Shifman Mattresses recently announced that having been in the furniture industry for 33 years with 18 of those years specializing in mattresses, experienced salesperson Linda Tracy was named Shifman Mattresses 2017 salesperson of the year.

Starting her career as supporting staff in Bloomingdale’s furniture department, Linda became aware of Shifman Mattresses when they were added to Bloomingdale’s 30 years ago. “Quality in products is very important to me and the construction of Shifman bedding was immediately apparent. So, bedding became my favorite place to be,” said Linda.

Awarded salesperson of the year for the sixth time in her 18 year career at Shifman, when asked what factors contributed to winning this honor, Linda said, “growing your base is extremely important but I think relationships are key too. Being accessible is very important and the sales staff knows they can reach me anytime. I answered the phone on Mother’s Day and one of my family members said, but it’s Mother’s Day”.

Shifman determines salesperson of the year by evaluating six key areas that are important to Shifman growth and high quality service standards. Tim Wade, National Sales Manager, said “Linda had an exceptional year with Bloomingdale’s and she grew her other base of accounts tremendously.
