Steinreich Communications Group Promotes Sheila Long O’mara To VP

Steinreich Communications Group, Inc., an international public relations agency headquartered in New York, has announced that Sheila Long O’Mara has been promoted to vice president and day-to-day leader of the firm’s home furnishings industry and trade group. She will continue to report to SVP Ellyn Small who heads the firm’s consumer products division.

Prior to joining Steinreich Communications as content manager in April of 2016, O’Mara spent more than 25 years in journalism. She successfully launched and nurtured Home Furnishings Business as its editor in chief, and not only a prolific writer and editor, also managed the social media presence of the magazine. Prior to that post, she spent eight years with Furniture Today working in a number of roles, including: upholstery editor, fabric editor and editor in chief of its Kids Today publication. Before becoming a trade journalist, she was a staff writer for the Greensboro, N.C., News & Record, the local daily, and prior to that, The Elkin, N.C., Tribune.
