Simply Amish Receives Award From B&O Railroad Museum

Simply Amish owner Kevin Kauffman recently accepted an award from B&O Railroad Museum Executive Director Courtney Wilson. Simply Amish manufactures furniture, and licenses the name "B&O" for a collection of dining, bed, and occasional pieces whose angles and arches salute the iconic railroad.
Wilson paid tribute to Kauffman with "The royalties received through our licensing program with Simply Amish have been invaluable. We can't thank you enough for your philanthropic work."
Kauffman was also given a wooden pen, whose wood was reclaimed from a steam locomotive that was destroyed in a roof collapse at the museum.
One of the museum' s mandates, according to Wilson, is to serve as an educational resource that supports literacy and educational efforts for young children in the region surrounding the museum.
Kauffman added, "Many of our Amish craftsman travel longer distances by rail. We're all rail fans who marvel at the Western expansion of America, which was greatly aided by 19th century
