Furniture Industry News Update -

New exhibitors and designer collections add to the incredible array of products available at historic Market Square and the Suites at Market Square for the Spring High Point Market, April 22-26, 2017.

“The Suites at Market Square (SAMS) is the exclusive home for temporaries at High Point Market. It’s THE place to find one-of-a-kind products and resources, and to be awed and inspired,” says Julie Messner, Senior Vice President of Furniture and Home Décor Leasing for International Market Centers (IMC). “And the iconic Market Square features five floors encompassing 430,000 square feet of higher-end furniture, rugs, wall décor and home accents. With a wealth of designer-friendly options, it’s a top destination for every market-goer.”

This spring at Market Square, look for new furniture collections from David Phoenix for Hickory Chair and Jeffrey Bilhuber for Henredon. In addition, Capel Rugs, which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary, recently inked a partnership with longtime New York interior designer Anthony Baratta. Set for launch in October during High Point Market, Baratta’s initial line for Capel will include at least four collections covering a range of styles, constructions and price points. This brings Capel licensed collections to six – the others are Biltmore, CocoCozy, Genevieve Gorder, Kevin O’Brien, and Williamsburg.

A repurposed furniture factory on the National Register of Historic Places, Market Square is also home to an array of high-end furniture and home décor brands, including Maitland-Smith, Thomasville, Henredon, Hickory Chair, Pearson, Lane Venture, LaBarge, Thibaut, Kravet, Lee Jofa, Highland House, Feizy Rugs, oomph, Brunschwig & Fils, Barlow Tyrie, Vispring and more.

With more than 300 temporary exhibitors, Suites at Market Square has it all: artisanal, domestic and international, furniture, lighting, floral, top of bed, pottery, and tabletop. New SAMS exhibitors for spring include:
