Klaussner Spearheads Campaign To Raise Hope

City of Hope, a leader in cancer and diabetes research and treatment, recently announced that Klaussner Home Furnishings will spearhead an inaugural Las Vegas Market text-to-donate campaign to bolster awareness, excitement and donations for its upcoming The Spirit of Life Award Dinner.

“Our industry’s support of City of Hope unites us in a common mission for the benefit of all lives touched by cancer and diabetes,” stated Bill Wittenberg, President/CEO of Klaussner. “It is with great pride and whole-hearted commitment that we lead this effort at the well-attended January Las Vegas Market to garner funds for powerful treatments that save lives,” Wittenberg adds.

Klaussner’s donation campaign will take place during the winter Las Vegas Market from Sunday, January 22 through Thursday, January 26, when market exhibitors and attendees will have the opportunity to support City of Hope by making a donation via text message. Gifts made during the market week are in conjunction with the 2017 Spirit of Life® Award Dinner, slated for April 23 at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC, when Wittenberg, along with Niraj Shah and Steve Conine of Wayfair, will receive City of Hope’s top philanthropic honor, The Spirit of Life® Award. Donations made during Las Vegas Market are not applicable toward Award Dinner tickets or sponsorships. All funds raised will benefit ongoing research that impacts cancer and diabetes treatment worldwide.
