Massood Logistics Opens New Headquarters

Massood Logistics announced that it has expanded their warehouse and fulfillment network with the opening of their new headquarters in Archdale, NC. This is the fifth location operated by Massood in North Carolina to serve the Home Furnishing industry and e-commerce marketers around the globe. Others Include Greensboro, High Point, Eden and Winston-Salem.

This addition is part of the company’s long-term commitment to retailers and e-tailers everywhere. Massood Logistics was formed in 2010 but goes back more than 60 years. The original family business operated as MGM Transport and built a stellar reputation for quality and service while transporting merchandise across the US and Canada. Massood Logistics was the brainchild of Edward Massood but has been managed from its inception by Tara Massood, his daughter, who has spent her lifetime in and around the furniture transport industry as well as working in the family’s retail home furnishing stores.

Massood Logistics offers a total package of 3PL services including furniture warehousing, secure storage, drop shipping, cross dock, order fulfillment, pick & pack, last mile delivery and supply chain consulting. Their facility offers 300,000 square feet of secure dedicated space located at 537 Archdale Road. This location will serve as the central distribution hub for central North Carolina and the East coast.
