FurnishNet names Mulvaney Regional Sales Manager

FurnishNet, a leading provider of Internet-based supply chain solutions, announced that it has named Kyle Mulvaney to the position of Regional Sales Manager. Mulvaney brings with him an extensive background in the home furnishings industry, both as a retailer and vendor.
As Regional Sales Manager, Mulvaney is responsible for new sales with retailers and manufacturers in the Northeast. His territory covers Indiana out East, Virginia to Maine, and the Eastern regions of Canada, including New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Quebec. He is based out of FurnishNet’s San Diego headquarters and reports to Ron Sellers, Vice President of Sales.

Mulvaney began his home furnishings career in 1995 when he opened Interior Concepts with his mother and sister in Columbus, Ohio. He worked as Operations Manager for the retail store for more than five years, and managed internal systems and other core business areas. Having established this family owned and operated business, Mulvaney left Interior Concepts and joined Myriad Software as Sales Account Executive. In that position, he was responsible for new systems sales in the United States and Canada. Mulvaney’s mother and sister continue to run their furniture business, and his father recently retired after working for more than 30 years as a manufacturer’s representative. Mulvaney is proud that the furniture business has been part of the family for several generations.
