Capel Rugs announced that it is set to unveil a New Style Point of View at this fall's High Point Market, introducing an unprecedented number of cutting-edge collections in the braided, transitional and contemporary categories.

"What makes this market especially exciting is that not only are we presenting a large number of beautiful new collections, we are also celebrating a turning point in Capel's style perspective," said Tami Watras, Capel's Director of Merchandising. "Visitors to the showroom will find all the classic stylings and industry-leading quality they have come to expect from Capel, but updated with new colors and design concepts."

"We are inviting everyone to see our completely updated showroom, full of the freshest assortment of products we have ever offered," said Allen Roberston, Capel's Vice President of Sales. "In addition to all of our new collections, we've developed striking visuals that I am sure many dealers will want to duplicate in their own showrooms. We are also offering great sample packages to make these exciting presentations as affordable as possible.

Among this year's most exciting introductions are a number of new transitional and contemporary collections Capel has developed in collaboration with world-renowned designer Kevin O'Brien. The new rug line, Kevin O'Brien for Capel Rugs, is aimed at consumers "who have fantastic taste and are looking for stylish yet affordable products," said O'Brien.

O'Brien's designs, as seen in the Droplets collection, introduce a new style concept to Capel's market offerings by presenting natural motifs rendered in subtle, yet striking color schemes. Daisy Climber, another Kevin O'Brien introduction, presents stylized floral patterns in a soothing color scheme that feels timeless, yet on point with the latest trends.

The natural theme is continued in the new hand-tufted collection, Eloquent Garden, which features a traditional botanical pattern in bold contemporary colors.

Capel has incorporated clean lines and geometric patterns into many of its new style concepts. The Flair and Arrondelle collections draw inspiration from minimalist design, featuring crisp graphic patterns and visually interesting proportions. This market, Capel will also be premiering new colors in the Hampton collection, each of which reflects the clean, casual styling of classic American menswear.

Paying tribute to both its roots as a braided rug manufacturer and to contemporary design, Capel will be unveiling a wide variety of American Originals™ rugs in bold, cutting-edge colors. Included in these introductions are the bright and festive Key West, Sea Glass and Candy collections. A Capel Anywhere™ collection, Salt Marsh is hand crafted using a variety of innovative construction techniques, making it one of Capel's most versatile and imaginative braided offerings.

This market, the company will be highlighting its braided introductions in a second space at the Suites at Market Square in space 1-418.

Retailers and members of the media are invited to attend a special reception celebrating Capel's New Style Point of View at the Capel Rugs showroom on Sunday, October 17, at 4 p.m.

The Capel Rugs Showrooms are located in High Point at Market Square, space 112, and the Suites at Market Square, space 1-418.
