Decorating Den Interiors Pioneers FranConnect Marketing Technology for Its Franchisees

A new single login cloud-based resource gives designers with Decorating Den Interiors a one-stop resource for all their marketing and client contact.

Decorating Den Interiors, North America’s largest home furnishings and interior design franchise company, announced that it is introducing to its franchisees a pioneering one-stop, cloud-based marketing resource that puts a wide array of client development tools at their fingertips. “This provides our designers with a huge advantage for their businesses,” says James S. Bugg, Jr., president and chief executive officer.

“This is a technology-based single source for managing all aspects of communication with prospects, leads and customers. Whether it’s an email program, direct mail, print advertising, thank you notes, or some other customer relations tactic, the new resource makes managing marketing systems easier than ever before. Social media can be easily updated across all platforms from a single post,” Bugg explains. “Our owners can even put their marketing on auto-pilot so they have more time for designing.”

Called Zcubator™, the new system was developed by FranConnect® (www.franconnect.com), a top provider of franchise management systems. “We are passionate about helping great businesses like Decorating Den Interiors build smarter franchise systems. They were one of our first clients as we together developed their Deconet intranet business and communication management system for individual owners,” says FranConnect founder and CEO Amit Pamecha. “Now they are partnering with us to add Zcubator ™, our single login cloud-based platform for running a franchisee's entire marketing strategy."

The all-in-one portal enables easy access to all the creative concepts for email templates, advertising designs, and suggested copy developed by Decorating Den Interiors corporate staff. All of the marketing pieces can be personalized by the individual interior decorators and designers. They can add their own project photos or use photos from an extensive library of award winning room makeovers from the annual Decorating Den Interiors Dream Room competition judged by international home furnishings journalists.

Franchisees also can use the software’s reporting capabilities to send creative campaigns to a specific audience based on purchase history or special dates such as anniversaries, birthdays or other events.

“Along with the quarterly promotions and vendor discounts that our merchandising department arranges with our international network of suppliers, it makes for a powerful combination of national and personal branding,” says Bugg.
