American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation Releases Video for Lead with Vision 2018

Furniture World News Desk on 5/4/2018

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation recently announced that it has released a new Leadership video, taped as part of the launch of its new Leadership Initiative to create a new class of leadership and innovation. The video also can be found by visiting the website, www.homefurnishingshalloffame.com.

Sponsored by kathy ireland® Worldwide, the video offers insight from respected industry leaders on the meaning of great leadership. Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture and Hall of Fame board member, conducted the interviews during the networking reception preceding the Induction Celebration.

“This video starts the conversation by asking a simple question of current and future leaders, ‘What is a good leader?’ because to be not just a good leader but a great leader, you need to know what that is,” says Jeff Child, president of the Foundation board of directors. “To build the next generation of Hall of Famers, we need to understand the perspectives of current leaders who have the vision to lead and of our future leaders who aspire to lead. This video launches the narrative and is a hint of what is yet to come with our new initiative.”
