Norwalk Furniture recently announced that it will highlight four new textile themes at High Point Market. The four themes – Performance Pop, Ensign, Twilight and Llama Drama – will be featured in their showroom located at IHFC, Main 108 for its broad upholstery product assortment.

“Our Spring 2018 themes offer everything from sophistication to playfulness,” said Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture. “Recognizing that color often transcends design, not only will you see trend-setting hues, you’ll also see innovative materials, freshly textured fabrics and maybe a friendly llama or two for a playful escape.”

Performance Pop: Known for its performance fabric collection featuring Sunbrella, Crypton and Revolution, Norwalk fuses fashion, function and technology to provide textiles with the best durability, cleanability and light fastness the market has to offer. Monochromatic looks have gone to the wayside as the company brings saturated tones of Coast Guard orange, fuchsia, and acid green to the forefront to add enlivening accents to its showroom vignettes.

Ensign: Nearly 40 countries and countless other clubs and organizations use this color scheme made famous by the Old Glory, Union Jack and Tricolour. Today, red, white and blue is always in style. This Market, Norwalk’s vignettes will go beyond the traditional, by using shades of crimson, pearl, and cobalt to celebrate this iconic and energetic combination of colors.

Twilight: Bringing glam to soft greys with names like Flint, Driftwood, Cloud and Old Pewter, many of the colors in this theme have a silver undertone. Accented with on-trend blush tones like soft rose and pink lemonade, this collection is embellished with bunny fur, faux skate, and pearlized ostrich for a touch of texture and luxe detailing.

Llama Drama: Llamas arrived at the top of the fabric design world’s consciousness ever since they took center stage at the recent Winter 2017 Showtime, High Point’s semi-annual fabric market. Designers looking for fresh pattern inspiration have turned to the iconic pack animal’s home in Lima Peru and its many Inca-focused textile museums. Coupled with the area’s vast high-quality cotton fields, this theme features a number of these richly textured and patterned fabrics.
