Fine Furniture Design Kicks Off Spring High Point Market with Esquire Home Collection Launch Event

Headlining the entertainment for the evening is Dale Henry, a well-known speed painter with a graffiti-style aesthetic.

Fine Furniture Design recently announced that it will host the Esquire magazine editorial team at its April 2018 High Point Market launch event to celebrate the Esquire Home Collection, a 50-piece furniture group developed in collaboration with the experts at Esquire, an icon in the world of men’s fashion, culture and style. The launch party will take place at the Fine Furniture Design showroom located at 305 South Hamilton Street on April 13th from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

The event will bring the pages of Esquire to life by incorporating references to male interests throughout the event space. Anchored by a dramatic circular bar, the outdoor tented event will feature a vintage game room and masculine-inspired décor including graffiti elements, quirky greenery displayed in men’s shoes, vintage luggage pieces and antique hobby items such as cameras and leather tool sets.

“Much like the pages of Esquire and our new Home Collection, the event will offer substance and style for the curious, confident and cultured consumer,” said Anna McGaha marketing director of Fine Furniture Design. “We are creating a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere that has an edge to it that doesn’t take itself too seriously.”

Headlining the entertainment for the evening is Dale Henry, a well-known speed painter with a graffiti-style aesthetic. Guests will be entertained by his high-energy “splatter paint” technique that transforms blank canvases into works of art within minutes. Henry will create three pieces during the event with performances at 5:45, 6:45 and 7:45 p.m. Throughout the evening, guests are invited to drop their business cards for a chance to win of one of the three pieces. Additional entertainment will include the High Point-based Shane Key Band, who will provide live music throughout the evening.

A masculine-inspired menu with themed food stations will include a slider and beer pairing, a Southern food station and a wine cellar station. Unique desserts including adult milkshake shooters and an innovative nitrogen ice cream bar round out the menu. Featured cocktails including Esquire Manhattans, Moscow Mules and a Blueberry Basil Smash will be featured along with N.C. brewed specialty beers at the full-service bar.

For added convenience to guests, a free shuttle service – which will run continuously until 11 p.m. on the night of the event – will be available for attendees to or from any destination within a three-mile radius of High Point city limits.
