Bush Furniture recently announced that it continues to focus on new product introductions with new finishes and line extensions set for release this year.

The home furnishings division of Bush Industries Inc., Bush Furniture has experienced sales growth in recent years, partially due to an increased investment in new product development. After expanding into the bedroom category and releasing numerous other SKUs last year, the company has a growing number of home office products, sit-to-stand desks, storage items, hall trees, and even a bar cabinet on tap for 2018.

Available by the end of the first quarter, the best-selling Cabot line now includes unique mechanical sit- to-stand desktops.

“We’ve previously introduced a variety of ergonomic height adjustable standing desks for our commercial division,” said Joe Ruedinger, director of design. “However, we’ve noticed a growing need for budget-friendly ergonomic options for the home office.”

Designed to lift smoothly and lock into three standing height positions, the Cabot sit-to-stand format works in multiple layouts, including L shaped configurations and as part of a bookcase corner desk.

A new TV stand joins the Midnight Mist collection, a longstanding customer favorite, while the Broadview and Fairview lines will each grow by several pieces. Broadview will soon feature a bar cabinet, a first for Bush Furniture, while the Fairview extension includes entryway storage items such as a hall
tree and shoe bench. The entryway products build on the success of the company’s first hall tree and shoe bench, part of an extension to the Salinas line last year.

“We’re excited to offer additions to some of our most popular families while taking steps into new and exciting areas,” Ruedinger said. “We’ve done extensive research on consumer trends to ensure we’re creating highly functional products with on-trend finishes to fit the needs of today’s homes.”

Additional collections available in new finishes this year include: Buena Vista in serene cherry, Stanford in antique white, Key West in bing cherry, and Salinas in vintage black, one of the families which will be on display in Showroom A 1036 at Las Vegas Market, Jan. 28 to Feb. 1.
