Tayse Rugs Acquires New Headquarters in Calhoun, GA

The new location includes over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space with 40 to 60-foot ceiling, giving over 4 times the capacity of its previous Headquarters.
Tayse Rugs recently announced that it has acquired a new facility in Calhoun, GA, right off Interstate 75 and less than a mile from the company’s current headquarters, which effectively gives Tayse over 4 times the capacity of its previous location. The new location includes over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space with 40 to 60-foot ceiling, allowing for a tremendous increase in storage. The main building also includes offices for over 250 employees.
According to Jay Dogan the CFO & COO of the company. The new Tayse Rugs campus also includes a separate building for its Ada Home Décor furniture division, as well as a building dedicated to photography and promotional materials, allowing Tayse to better represent to customers the variety of styles and colors for which it has become known. Overall, this new campus will provide the ability to further expand Tayse’s offerings in many new upcoming collections and products.
“This new location also has 80 acres (around 320,000 sqm) of flat land in order for us to add new buildings, and warehouses if needed in the future which is one of the main reasons why we picked this property” Dogan added.
Tayse anticipates the transition period of moving to the new campus to begin January 2018 and as the new space is only a short distance from Tayse’s current building, the transition should be a swift and incident-free one.
