Mark Fierek to Lead Specialized Furniture Carriers Divison

Taking the helm as chairman of the Specialized Furniture Carriers is Mark Fierek of Manna Freight Systems, Mendota Heights, Minn.
The Specialized Furniture Carriers, a division of the American Home Furnishings Alliance since 2009, has named officers and board members for 2018.
Taking the helm as chairman is Mark Fierek of Manna Freight Systems, Mendota Heights, Minn. Richard Tucker of Shelba D. Johnson Trucking, High Point, is first vice chairman, and Steve Ennis of Murrow’s Transfer, Thomasville, N.C., is second vice chair.
Freddie Davis, Global Shippers Association LLC, Lenoir, N.C., is serving a one-year board term, while Marcus Cary of Wiseway Transportation Services, Hudson, Wisc., is serving a two-year term.
Directors with terms expiring at the end of 2020 include Bill Smith, CV International, Charlotte, N.C.; Anthony Brooks, Brooks-Dehart Furniture Xpress Inc., Newton, N.C.; and Daryl Spyksma, Dejong Enterprises, Ontario, Canada.
The Specialized Furniture Carriers division serves niche carriers dedicated to the transportation and delivery of residential furnishings. The Board of Directors meets during the High Point Market in April and October. More information is available at
