The Board of Directors of the Canadian Home Furnishings Alliance (CHFA) recently announced that it has elected Mark Wiltshire as the association's Chair of the Board. Mark succeeds Laine Reynolds who has served as Chair for the past 12 years.

Mark is currently Vice-President Sales for Palliser Furniture Upholstery Ltd. responsible for sales in both upholstery and case goods worldwide. Prior to Palliser Mark held senior executive positions with Natuzzi, Furniture Brands, La-Z-Boy and Cantrex. Mark has an extensive background in the furniture industry both from a manufacturing/wholesale perspective as well as significant retail experience.

When asked about his new role Mark replied, "being in the furniture industry my entire career, I am very honoured to be selected Chair of the Canadian Home Furnishings Alliance. Having worked for some of the biggest brands in the industry; domestically, in the USA and abroad I believe provides me with a keen perspective of the opportunities and challenges before us as an industry here in Canada."

"I look forward to working closely with my friends at the QFMA on matters that effect us all from a National perspective and work towards strengthening our industry overall."
