Hooker Furniture To Preview “Modern Romance” Collection At China International Furniture Expo

Hooker Furniture Corporation (NASDAQ: HOFT), a designer, marketer, manufacturer and importer of case goods, leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture, reports that it will offer buyers shopping the China International Furniture Expo later this month a preview of its new Modern Romance Collection. The whole-home collection, set for formal unveiling at the October 2017 High Point Market, will give international buyers a flavor of the company’s style direction for the fall.

In addition to Modern Romance, Hooker Furniture will also show its popular American Life and its Curata Collections at the Sept. 12th to 15th Shanghai Market. Each collection offers aspirational style elements from the U.S. including luxury, casual and sophistication.

“Last year, we introduced our Arabella collection in Shanghai before officially launching it at the High Point Market in October,” said Brad Miller, Hooker Furniture vice president of international sales. “It proved to be a successful move as we were able to reach the China market and other international buyers in attendance. The international retailers were intrigued by the preview, which ultimately led them to our showroom during the High Point Market. By hosting another preview in Shanghai, we hope to replicate the success and garner the same interest at both Markets.”
