Nourison Introduces Two New Collections at New York Home Fashions Market

Furniture World News Desk on 9/12/2017

Floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison recently introduced two new collections at New York Home Fashions Market, Navajo and Baja, with colorful tribal motifs, bohemian vibes and southwestern influences.

The Navajo Collection incorporates southwestern style with vivid geometric designs, and the Baja Collection features tribal influences, including Moroccan, Ikat and Kilim trends in warm, sunny colors with a multicolor fringe finish. The Rio Vista Collection celebrates India’s Dhurrie design in an array of neutral and bright color palettes. Both Baja and Rio Vista are woven flat-weaves, reversible for extra wear and versatility.

The Passion Collection with bohemian vibes debuts several new designs in shades of Blue, Grey and Ivory.

Tribal, bohemian and southwestern designs have been growing trends in interior design, especially with increasing demand and popularity of eclectic designs and colorful palettes. Fringe has also become a stylish extension to the rug, adding depth and texture.

Deco Mod includes Art Deco-inspired designs with graphic patterns. This collection is hand tufted with a mix of high and low piles for dimension and texture. There has been a resurgence of Art Deco style, with geometric designs in tonal and soft neutral hues.

New decorative accents include Casa Bella in coir, Frameworks in damask designs and Rushmore in Aztec designs in printed cottton.

Mina Victory Home Accents showcases island-themed palm print pillows with tassel detailing, pastel pillows with a pom tassel border and woven denim pillows. Palm prints, tassels and poms have all been significant trends this year across fashion, accessories and home decor, from bold greens to pink and blue hues.
