Fine Furniture Design recently announced that it has named Erin Sullivan as vice president of product development. Sullivan will oversee the strategic direction and development of the company’s product line including bedroom, dining room, upholstery and accent furniture.

With 28 years of product merchandising experience, Sullivan joins Fine Furniture Design from her most recent position as vice president of merchandising at Frontgate, a leading home luxury multichannel retailer with catalog, ecommerce and retail operations. In her 19-year tenure she was instrumental in developing and innovating products, increasing market share and building strategic partnerships.
“Over the last few years we have been focused on growing our product portfolio and transitioning our styling from a purely traditional furniture resource to appealing to a broader range of customers,” said Eric Graham, president of Fine Furniture Design. “Erin’s proven track record of leading aggressive and strategic growth combined with her experience in competitive analysis and retail merchandising strategies will be tremendously beneficial as we continue to expand our product line.”

“As our industry continues to evolve away from tradition, retailers and manufacturers need to understand trends of consumer behavior for their specific market and they need to make their point of difference the cornerstone of everything they do,” said Sullivan. “I look forward to applying my industry experiences and knowledge toward the continued growth of Fine Furniture Design.”

Sullivan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from John Carroll University, where she studied business marketing.
