Chromcraft Revington Douglas Issues Statement Regarding Unauthorized Manufacture and Distribution of Chair Designs

Furniture World News Desk on 10/19/2016

Chromcraft Revington Douglas Ind., Inc., a designer and manufacturer of residential and commercial furniture, today issued the following statement:

"It has come to our attention that a small number of furniture distributors and manufacturers are unlawfully copying or distributing unauthorized copies of well-known Chromcraft chair designs. We have retained legal counsel and have begun to pursue action against the responsible parties. Anyone who considers copying or unlawfully distributing copies of our designs should be aware that we will be vigilant in pursuing legal action to enforce our rights and to protect the rights of the many authorized dealers and sellers of our products.

"Since 1946, Chromcraft has been at the forefront in designing and manufacturing furniture. Chromcraft’s product designs reflect more than 60 years of hard work and dedication to craftsmanship, quality and durability. We are committed to protecting the quality and reputation of our brand, and its value to both our loyal customers and authorized partners. Consumers and buyers should be aware that Chromcraft cannot attest to the quality of unauthorized knock-offs of our products. Consumers may find later that the warranties on these products are invalidated since they are the product of unlawful manufacture and distribution."
