Voila Press Kits reported that it has expanded its service so that Las Vegas Market exhibitors can now take advantage of the only online press kit service created by two home furnishings industry PR professionals. At voilapresskits.com, exhibitors can order their trade show press kits, download new product images, and pay with a credit card – for a seamless service that includes express delivery of press kits to the Vegas Market media center.
Leslie Newby and Carla Mata-Sprinkles want to help streamline market preparations for exhibitors. They designed the new service to make it easy, convenient, and affordable for manufacturers to have press kits that can lead to editorial exposure for new products. Press kits are used by journalists and reporters who cover furniture industry news, consumer trends in the home, and related feature stories in a variety of media outlets, including trade publications, shelter magazines, newspapers, TV, radio, blogs, and online consumer magazines.
Voila is named for the French word meaning “to appear as if by magic.” Having the ability to order press kits online is ideal for entrepreneurs and multi-tasking marketing personnel, according to Newby, who owns Brand Communications, Inc. “We know that exhibitors are always running down to the wire in their trade show preparations,” she said. “With 24/7 access to the Voila website, press kit orders can be placed in any half-hour window, up to the last week before show time.”
“During our spring launch, we had a long-time High Point exhibitor tell us that preparing his press kit was never easier,” said Mata-Sprinkles, who is also the principal of Creative Communication Services. “He had everything uploaded in 30 minutes and then only had to approve the proof via email. We take care of everything else, including delivery to the media center.”
To meet the Las Vegas Market media center deadline for press kit delivery this summer, Voila will accept online orders for basic press kits through noon PST, Mon., July 23. All kits will be delivered to the media center by the deadline of Fri., July 27. For press kits needed in between tradeshows, orders will be accepted at any time.
Exhibitors may register at the website, www.voilapresskits.com, to place orders and to learn more about pricing and optional services.
The exhibitor service was successfully launched in High Point during the spring furniture market. Voila founders Newby and Mata-Sprinkles intend to expand to other tradeshows, beginning with the Vegas Market’s July trade show.
