AICO Adds to Upholstery Team

Peggie Galvin, former Senior Buyer with Annas Linens

Full line furniture supplier AICO/Amini Innovation Corp announced recently that they have hired industry veteran Peggie Galvin as Director of Upholstery. Galvin will work with and report to Laurie Phillips, VP Upholstery. Galvin had most recently been with Annas Linens as a senior buyer for the past 13 years and prior to that spent time with Strouds and Intercontinental Art in merchandising roles.

“For the past several years we have focused heavily on growing our upholstery division and I feel confident that Peggie’s extensive retail background will be a true asset for the department and for the company” said Michael Amini CEO and Founder. Amini added “aside from her retail experience, Peggie has a keen grasp of design and understands how to merchandise fabrics, color and style. Two highly skilled veterans like Laurie and Peggie will not only strengthen our position as a leader in upholstery, but will help us to sell a complete package of home furnishings to our customers.”
