SHOWTIME adds to Event Schedule

SHOWTIME, celebrating the 52nd home textiles market, reports that it is scheduled for for December 6 - 9, 2015. 

The show will feature many networking opportunities, giving attendees and exhibitors a chance to relax, mingle and network in an informal atmosphere. Events are free to all, and welcome everyone.
  • International Market Centers will be sponsoring “Happy Hour” each evening from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. This is located throughout the Suites at Market Square. Stop by and say hello to friends with a refreshing drink.
  • Monday, December 10, International Market Centers is hosting the International Pavilions at Showtime reception at 4:00 p.m. in Market Square second floor, space 212-214. Join us in welcoming the new companies from China.
  • Tuesday, December 8, ITMA Oyster Roast and S’mores Outdoors will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Market Square Courtyard. Buyers and ITMA Members are invited to join our sponsor companies American Silk Mills, Benartex Home, International Market Centers, JLA Home Fabrics, Gum Tree Fabrics, and Moore & Giles for good music, great food, fabulous people and a little competition!

Educational Events

Showtime attendees will also have the opportunity to attend presentations by Furniture Today and Home Textiles Today, Madcap Cottage and web4retail.
  • The first presentation is sponsored by Furniture Today and Home Textiles Today. Cindy Hodnett, Upholstery and Fabrics Editor, will be discussing “Large, Small and In Between: Trends Driving the Furniture Industry” on Monday, December 7 at 9:00 a.m. Today’s consumers love eclecticism, and they are bringing it into homes of all sizes. See the latest designs from furniture manufacturers that address the one-size-does-not-fit-all style trends.
  • A second educational seminar, “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Madcap World,” will be presented by Jason Oliver Nixon and John Loecke of Madcap Cottage on Monday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday, December 8 at 2:00 p.m. The Madcap gents invite guests to a decidedly delicious and accessible world of prints, patterns, and wovens courtesy of Robert Allen @ Home.
  • Lastly, a social media seminar titled “The Online Store: How to sell your products online” will be presented by Denise Keniston of web4retail on Monday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. Web4retail is an internet marketing agency providing leading design and advertising services to businesses all over the country.
All presentations will take place on the top floor of the Suites at Market Square in space 1-1034.
