Capel Rugs To Feature 25 Fresh Designs at October High Point Market

Capel Rugs reported that it will introduce 25 fashionable new rug designs at the October High Point Market, including a variety of innovative hand tufted, flat woven and hand knotted models.

Styles range from bold abstracts and crisp geometrics to updated classic and vintage patterns, with color palettes inspired by the calming colors of the sky, clouds and other natural elements.

"This market, we're exploring colors and textures that bring a soothing touch of nature to room environments," said Cameron Capel, vice president of national accounts. "Patterns are creative yet accessible so that they work with a wide variety of today's most popular furniture styles and room settings."

At the High Point Market, Capel Rugs' introductions include:

Phantom: A new hand knotted design in soothing colors, the Phantom collection's New Zealand semi-worsted wool creates the feeling of walking on clouds. Made in India, this collection comes in three calming colors: multi, blue haze and mist. Sizes include: 5'x 8', 7'x 9', 8'x11', 9'x 13' and 18"x 18" samples. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $1,799.

Solace: Solace is a new hand knotted collection from India inspired by the magnificent colors, textures and patterns of the sky. This high-quality, 100% wool collection comes in four daring colors and patterns: fog, moonlight, sunset and dusk. Sizes include: 2'6"x 9' runner, 3'6"x 5'6", 5'x 8', 8'x 10', 9'x 13' and 18"x 18" samples. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $1,599.

Vintage: Vintage is a collection of hand knotted contemporary rugs with a twist. The 100% wool pile is sheared to a low level, creating an antique look. Vintage is made in India in two new designs: Courtyard in blue and red and Keeneland in green. The new rugs are available in 3'6" x 5'6", 5' x 8', 8' x 10' and 9' x 12' sizes. A 5' x 8' may retail for $799.

Kasbah: A collection of hand knotted transitional designs with a Persian flair, Kasbah is expanding with two new patterns: Crystal, in a black colorway, and Nomad, in cream. Made of 100% Lincoln wool, the collection is available in 3' x 5', 5' x 8', 7' x 9', 8' x 11' and 12' x 15' sizes.

Eloquent Garden: A Capel classic, Eloquent Garden features an Oriental and Persian fusion of beauty. These lovely neo-traditional area rugs infuse any space with rich color and easy elegance. Hand tufted in India, Eloquent Garden's classic floral motifs, rendered in luxurious 100% wool, give this collection endless versatility. Capel's best value tufted rug is washed for added sheen. Eloquent Garden is available in three new colorways: navy, grey and brown. Sizes include 4' x 6', 5' x 8', 7' x 9', 8' x 11', 9' x 12', 2' x 8' runner and custom sizes. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $449.

Montauk II: Capel's best-selling, natural-toned Montauk collection has a colorful new best friend - Montauk II. The get-down-to-business flat woven basic is back and brighter than ever. It's handcrafted from pure, durable wool in six brand new colorways: seafoam, lichen grey, coal, cloud, denim and cream. Backed with heavy canvas for extra stability, it is available in 5' x 8', 7' x 9', 8' x 11', 9' x 12' and 2'3" x 8' runner and custom sizes. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $349.

Bloomsbury: Bright and vivid, Bloomsbury's colorful new pink multi pattern makes a bold statement. With rich shades of purple, pink, red, yellow and teal, this vibrant, tufted, 100% wool rug will add a unique feel to any room. Made in India, it is available in 5' x 8', 7' x 9' and 8' x 11' sizes. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $449.

Daisy Chain: Stunning floral patterns characterize this nature-inspired collection from licensed designer Kevin O'Brien. Feminine and bold, this loop pile and cut pile mix is smooth and inviting for any room. Daisy Chain is made in India of 90% wool and 10% viscose in three colorways: dusty yellow, castle grey and red. It's available in 5' x 8', 7' x 9' and 8' x 11' sizes. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $699.
