Therapedic To Introduce “Concept” Mattresses At Summer Las Vegas Market

Furniture World News Desk on 7/29/2015

Top 10 bedding producer, Therapedic International announced it is taking a different sales approach by showing “concept” mattresses to retailers at the upcoming Summer Las Vegas Market, instead of unveiling product lines that cannot be modified. Taking a page from the automotive industry’s playbook, the company is inviting its “dealers” to provide valuable insights and input on the “concept” bed additions to some of its most popular collections – Medicoil and EcoGel – before bringing finished goods to market.

“The pace of the Summer Vegas Market is different and we believe a good opportunity to offer our dealers a unique hand in the evolution and development of some of our most successful lines. We are taking a more collaborative approach to the design and development process,” said Therapedic International President and CEO Gerry Borreggine. “Over the last several months, we have been working making upgrades to some of our best-selling collections. By bringing these concept lines to Market we can gauge retailer reaction to the changes we believe will improve sales.”

Retailers can expect to see a new “HD,” short for heavy duty, model of the Medicoil line that features extra strong materials for increased durability, stability, support and comfort. The company will also debut its first open-stock mattress set, the new EcoGelFLEX is designed to help stay cool and work with any adjustable bed base. For the first time in the company’s history, Therapedic will deliver the EcoGelFLEX directly to the consumer, reducing the need for warehouse space and stress on the mattress set, which weighs 250 to 300 pounds.

To see the new Medicoil HD, EcoGelFLEX and the entire Therapedic line-up visit their new market space, B-946, at the upcoming Las Vegas Market.
