Contrast is what draws the eye in.

When putting together furniture displays for your store, think about how you can play design elements off of one another. This can be done by pairing light with dark, straight lines with curvy lines, brights with neutrals, or textured pieces against pieces with sleeker, shiner finishes.

A careful balance of elements allows the eye to move from one piece to the other easily and harmoniously.
