Canadel Furniture Increases Capacity

Custom dining innovator and category leader Canadel Furniture announced that due to significant increases in their core business, the wide spread acceptance of their Gourmet Collection, and an upcoming brand new collection, they have made a $3 million dollar investment in their physical plant. According to Howard Cohen, Canadel’s Director of Sales, Canadel has added an additional 30,000 square feet which will increase Canadel’s upholstery department’s capacity. The new facility will house state of the art upholstery and packaging machinery, and presses for chair assembly. Additionally, they have added labor to keep up with the growing demand for their products and programs.

“We are extremely proud to make this announcement as it validates the direction we have taken, and the wide spread acceptance of our products and programs among our 900 retail partners, says Cohen. Additionally, it will allow for increased capacity for a very special collection we will be rolling out in early 2016. Over the last 4 years we have had double digit year over year increases so it was necessary to expand capacity in order to allow us to maintain an efficient delivery model, superior quality, and our continuing effort to bring relevant new product to market.
