Wright Global Graphics (WGG), the home furnishings industry leader of innovative marketing services and branding support, announced that long-time veteran and Vice President of Sales Home Furnishings Branding, Lanny Jarrell will be retiring from the company after 46 years.

“Lanny helped this business grow into the success it is today and we are grateful for all his contributions to our clients and company over nearly five decades. He has helped so many brands grow through his innovative thinking and fantastic customer service. He was a mentor to me personally and helped develop a lot of the talent in our organization,” said Senior Vice President of Business Development & Chairman of the Board Don Wright. “We will miss him dearly, but know that it is time for him to spend more time with his grandchildren and see if he can improve on his 4 handicap.”

Jarrell began his career with WGG in 1969 as a press operator. Shortly thereafter, he moved into the sales division with a focus on the mattress and furniture industry. In 2012 and 2013, he was president of the American Home Furnishings Alliance Suppliers Division and in 2014 he served at the division's  chairman.

“I feel really blessed to have been with the Wright family for all these years and to work with wonderful clients and colleagues,” said Jarrell. “I believe that we make a true difference for our customers and I am happy to have made a contribution to their success. My successors are a wonderful group of talented executives who I know will serve our company and clients with distinction.”

He is married with 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and served on the board of directors at Colonial Country Club for several years, as well as being on the boards of the United Way of Davidson County and Trinity Athletics, which supports young athletes from elementary through high school.

Earlier in the year, anticipating Jarrell’s retirement, WGG appointed several experienced sales executives who have been working with him on a smooth transition.
