Fashion Bed Group Introduces New Bed Designs At High Point Market

Furniture World News Desk on 4/16/2015

Fashion Bed Group® (formerly known as Leggett & Platt® Consumer Products Group), reported that it will  debut the latest additions to its industry-leading line of fashionable – yet affordable – beds at High Point Market. From mid-century modern to ultra-contemporary, Fashion Bed Group (FBG), a leading U.S. retail supplier of bedding accessory products, will showcase a multitude of designs spanning the style spectrum, all featuring the company’s signature quality and exceptional value.

“With these offerings, Fashion Bed Group is proving once again that style and value are not mutually exclusive,” said Ron Ainsworth, Senior Vice President Merchandising and Procurement for FBG. “On-trend and packed with design appeal, these new bed designs round out our already robust bedding selection that truly offers something for every taste – and budget.”

Showcasing some of the hottest looks in bedding, following is an overview of new styles that will be featured at High Point Market:

Prelude Bed: The retro-inspired Prelude bed, now offered in a stunning bright orange fabric as well as green sage, is slated to be the star of the High Point Market showroom. Featuring a low profile and ultra-sleek silhouette, this design boasts a dramatic headboard upholstered in a linen-look (and feel) fabric artfully applied with symmetrical darting.

“In today’s fast-paced, digital world, mid-century modern design has made a huge comeback as consumers look to bring a sense of simplicity back into their lives and styles,” added Ainsworth. “The Prelude goes one step further by combining this trend with eye-catching fabrics that creates a dramatic, designer-style bedroom. With its deep tufting and sharp, clean edges, the Prelude is the epitome of lush luxury – at an appealing price point that’s quite retro itself!”

The Prelude is priced to retail at approximately $899.

Contemporary: Making its debut at High Point Market, the all-metal Sheridan bed features square and rectangular tubing that adds another contemporary look to FBG’s metal bed offerings. Offered in black with a golden rub-through, the Sheridan is priced at $599.

Headboards: Upholstered headboards continue to reign supreme among consumers seeking an affordable and space-saving way to enhance and personalize their bedrooms. Priced to retail around $399 each, the following brand new headboards from FBG feature 100 percent polyester fabric and are offered in Twin, Full/Queen and King/Cal King, with adjustable 54”, 58” and 62” heights.
  • Avignon – The Avignon headboard, shown in Natural, features both deep button tufts and hand-applied nail heads for a neutral, yet romantic look.
  • Martinique – The Martinique headboard, FBG’s most popular headboard offering, features soft, rounded edges and deep tufting, and is now available in Putty.
  • Strasbourg – The Strasbourg headboard, shown in Charcoal, is a contemporary offering with a rectangular shape, clean edges and deep button tufts.
FBG will showcase all of its new bedding products in its new High Point showroom Space #H-1141.
