Duchess and Baroness feature over 3,000 coils each and are the first U.S. manufactured mattresses to feature the new Leggett and Platt low profile encased coil.
Leading independent mattress manufacturer, Gold Bond reported a successful introduction to its two sided Sacro-Support Encased Coil series at the recent High Point Furniture Market. With more coils than any other Gold Bond mattress, the Duchess and Baroness feature over 3,000 coils each and are the first U.S. manufactured mattresses to feature the new Leggett and Platt low profile encased coil. These models are a step up in comfort and support from Gold Bond’s popular Buckingham and Westminster beds.
“With the price of foam continuing to rise, premium innerspring mattresses are an afford alternative to all foam products,” said Gold Bond President Robert Naboicheck. “Our customers tell us that the innerspring category continues to grow and our Sacro Support Encased Coil collection is a popular choice with consumers. In addition to being comfortable and a tremendous value, the Duchess and Baroness are two of the most beautiful mattresses we’ve ever made.”
Enhancing the 804 coils which can be found in the other models of the collection, the Duchess and Baroness boast two independent layers of 1,110 one and a half inch encased coils on the top and bottom of the mattress. This durable full-body support is designed to move independently, conforming to every curve and contour of the body and eliminating partner disturbance and motion transfer. Each coil is made of 17 ½ -gauge tempered steel for exceptional resilience.
The pillow top Baroness and box top Duchess each feature soft and luxurious rayon knit ticking which offers an amazing plush feel. The contemporary design uses three different accent fabrics to enhance curb appeal on the showroom floor. The pillow top design features a soft blue paisley ticking, the gusset is denim blue, and the light blue border has an eye catching spiral pattern, an artistic play on the layers of coils inside. Suggested retail price is $1,499 - $1,999 for a queen set.
