Ashley Furniture HomeStore operated by the Wilks Group, based in College Station, TX reported that its offer to refund the purchase price of furniture and accessories to customers was a huge success.

The 12 Day KickOff Event ran between Aug 16 - Aug 27 offering the following promise to customers.

“No Minimum, No Maximum - if you purchase a lamp or a whole house full of furniture and the Aggies win by 10 in the season opener -- it's all FREE! Plus, our Labor Day specials are in full effect in addition to this promotion. Customers can save as much as 20% off their entire purchase or qualify for No Interest for 60 months!”

It also presented a personal tie-in with the store’s owners stating, “Mark and Cheryll Wilks live here and are raising their family here in town and love this community! They wanted to tie in to the electric atmosphere the Aggies bring this time of year around this town.”

The promotion held in conjunction with SCA Promotions generated tickets ranging from a couple hundred dollars to upwards of $20,000, bringing in over $1 million in sales over the 12 day period. SCA Promotions helped plan the event and paid off on the “attention getting prize” since the Aggies did win in a 52-28 victory over South Carolina.
