RFA Decor: New Name, New Space At High Point Market, New Art

Furniture World News Desk on 8/27/2014

A transformation is underway for the Rosenbaum Art Companies’ wholesale/retail division. The division has been rebranded RFA Decor. It will debut its new 3,000-square-foot showroom in the International Home Furnishings Center in High Point, N.C., at the Fall High Point Market on Oct. 18.

The new, more visible showroom location, H223 in the IHFC building’s Hamilton Wing, offers a selling space more conducive to today’s lifestyle merchandising culture. An open floor plan enables buyers to view artwork in the context of lifestyle settings as it accommodates a wider variety of artists, mediums, genres and price points, including future line extensions that will further integrate art into consumers’ homes.

“We believe art is the most impactful way for consumers to personalize their spaces, and our new showroom will demonstrate a variety of genres, style categories, price points, mediums and framing techniques,” Howard Rosenbaum, president of RFA Decor, said. “Our previous showroom on the fourth floor of the IHFC building was beautiful but was more like a traditional art gallery. Our new space will allow our clients to fully realize the impact that art can have in their retail spaces and more importantly in their customers’ lives.”
