Merchandise Mart Reports Strong ICFA Preview Show

Merchandise Mart reported that the the ICFA Preview Show, held annually at The Merchandise Mart saw strong attendance--up 22% over last year. The Preview Show is an invitation-only show held for the permanent outdoor showroom tenants on floors 15 and 16 and select exhibitors on floor 7 who are also members of the ICFA. This preview show gave attendees a look at the impressive new products that will also be available at the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market September 16-19, 2014 at The Merchandise Mart.

"We are very encouraged by the strong turnout at this year’s ICFA Preview Market and expect that the momentum will carry over to the September Casual Market,” said Susan McCullough, Senior Vice President of MMPI. “We believe this is an indicator of the continued growth and importance of the outdoor furniture segment. We look forward to our September show, which will feature many long-time exhibitors returning to the show as well as over 30 new companies who have already signed up to participate.”

“In September, our permanent showroom floors will showcase over 250,000 square feet of the industry’s leading brands and two new showrooms, Parker James and Elaine Smith, will debut at this Show. In addition, Zuo Modern’s showroom will be in an expanded permanent showroom space,” said Byron Morton, Vice President Leasing.
