Art Van Furniture reported that it will mark the grand opening of its new franchise store inGaylord in Northern Michigan with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 24
Members of Art Van Furniture's executive leadership team will join franchise owners Bruce and Julie Dietz of Alpena for the festivities at the store (2090 M-32 Highway West).
"Gaylord is a rapidly growing city that is becoming more vibrant every day," said Art Van Elslander, founder and chairman of Art Van Furniture. "Adding another Art Van Furniture location in this region of the state is an exciting chapter in our continuing evolution." The retailer also has stores in Traverse City, Petoskey and Alpena.
The newly renovated, 18,000 square foot Art Van Furniture store is bringing approximately 20 new jobs to the community. Bruce and Julie Dietz, owners of the new Art Van Furniture location along with their son, Justin Dietz, and Shelly Miller, will manage the day to day operations.
