American Drew, a La-Z-Boy company and a leading manufacturer of medium to upper-medium priced bedroom, dining room and occasional furniture, reported that it is introducing two contemporary and eclectic home collections at fall High Point Market.

“Two new collections, Motif and Cameron, were well-received at pre-market for their inventive use of materials and high style, while remaining affordable to the consumer,” said Jack Richardson, senior vice president of sales for American Drew. “Highly figured veneer work, metal accents and architectural shapes all contribute to these fashionable, yet livable collections.”

Characterized by exotic Mozambique and flat-cut walnut veneers in a decorative sunburst pattern, the Motif whole-home collection features soft-contemporary styling that appeals to the design-conscious consumer. The collection also incorporates two-tone custom hardware and stainless steel metal accents to achieve a dramatic and glamorous look in the bedroom and dining room pieces.

Cameron blends traditional Arts and Crafts elements with contemporary details to achieve a casual, sophisticated design. While this bedroom and dining collection incorporates inlaid wood, wood grill overlays and beveled shapes of the Arts and Crafts movement, it also provides the storage and function desired by today’s consumers.

“American Drew is known for offering high style, especially because of our collections by fashion designers such as Bob Mackie,” said Richardson. “We’re excited that Bob is able to join us in the showroom this market to meet with our customers and discuss the new additions to his April introductions.”

World-renowned fashion designer Bob Mackie will be in the American Drew showroom, C926 in the International Home Furnishings Center, on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
