They are extraordinarily special human beings with a love of life and enthusiasm that you feel the instant you encounter them. You are comfortable around them; like old friends who’ve just met.
No amount of training can make just anyone into a top producing salesperson.

Born salespeople are often found not working with the public, or if they do, they are often locked in minimum wage jobs. Your go-out-of-the-way, special, auto mechanic, housekeeper, even the car hop at your favorite drive-in restaurant could be your new top producer. They’re smart people, so training will be easy. Give them a course on how you do business, and knowledge about the products you sell, then turn them loose and stand in awe.

Don’t disqualify older people from your search. One of your employees’ mothers or fathers could be a hidden gem too.
