Acme Furniture will introduce new products across all of its core categories, including case goods, upholstery and occasional.
Acme Furniture, an importer of bedroom, dining room, home office, occasional and accent furniture, announced that it is expanding and relocating its showroom for the Las Vegas Market taking place Jan. 28 to Feb. 1.
The company will show in a 31,000-square-foot showroom in space C-1401. The new showroom is 50 percent larger than its previous space, which was located on the 12th floor of the C Building.
“Our business has been expanding very rapidly,” said Gabriel Pu, senior sales vice president of Acme. “The time was right to increase our space so that we can show more of our fast-growing line. We’ve become a one-stop-shopping source for retailers of all sizes.”
At the winter Las Vegas Market, Acme Furniture will introduce new products across all of its core categories, including case goods, upholstery and occasional. The line includes traditional, transitional and contemporary styles, with pricing in the midrange of the market.
Acme launched its business in Los Angeles in 1985. According to Pu, the company maintains stock on 90 percent of its line and can ship most orders within 48 hours. It also offers direct container service from source factories in Asian and South America.
Over the years, Acme has been working with many of the same factories in Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Brazil and China, said Pu. “Because of our long-term relationships with these factories, we have been able to buy our products at very competitive prices and pass those savings along to retailers.”
Along with its Los Angeles facility, Acme also has distribution centers in New York City, New Jersey, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas and San Francisco.
“By adding nearly 10,000 square feet to its Las Vegas Market showroom, Acme Furniture is positioning itself for continued growth with retailers in the West and other key markets throughout the U.S.,” said Craig Staack, vice president of home furnishings leasing for International Market Centers. “This major expansion will help them strengthen their business relationships with existing and new accounts.”
Acme will hold a grand opening ceremony for the new showroom at 10 a.m. on Jan. 28.
