The company announced it plans to exhibit for the first time at the Toronto Furniture Market.
Pure LatexBLISS™, one of the fastest growing mattress brands in the world, announced that it is targeting Canada as part of the brand’s growth in 2013. The company announced it plans to exhibit for the first time at the Toronto Furniture Market and increase its number of regional distribution centers in the country.
Following the appointment of E.B. Walthall to vice president of sales -- North America, the company set out to strategically increase sales and brand efforts in Canada, a strong latex market. Pure LatexBLISS has a distribution center in Calgary and is planning to add another in Eastern Canada early in 2013.
“Our business has steadily been growing in Canada since 2010. It has proven to be a great market for latex and we want to increase our resources and marketing efforts to accelerate growth. Canadian retailers sell Latex more like European countries, which is different than the approach taken in the United States. Canada is a fantastic market for latex and has been for years,” said Pure LatexBLISS President, Kurt Ling. “As the emerging world-wide leader of Latex sleep products, we’ve noticed the Canadian marketplace still has ample room for growth and feel there are great opportunities for our Talalay Latex mattresses, toppers and pillows, as well as our unique approach to merchandising Latex, sales process and training.”
