Protect-A-Bed® and Therapedic International® Open Combined Showroom at High Point Market

Protect-A-Bed®, a leading provider of bedding protection products that offer consumers a healthy and comfortable sleep environment and Therapedic International®, a top ten bedding producer, have opened a joint product showroom at High Point Market (Oct. 13 – 18, 2012).
The 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art showroom features Protect-A-Bed and Therapedic product line-ups in an interactive, consumer-friendly way. The combined showroom (M-607) is in a prime location on the 6th floor in the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC), one of the top destinations of market attendees, boasting three-and-a-half million square feet of exhibitor space.
According to Protect-A-Bed’s CEO James Bell, the showroom is a unique opportunity to share a high-profile space with a well-respected company like Therapedic. “We’re excited about how this will maximize our presence at Market,” Bell says. “We’re hopeful this will yield an unending stream of prospects and buyers for both of our companies.”
Gerry Borreggine, President/ CEO of Therapedic, echoes Bell’s sentiment. “The new showroom allows us to showcase our products better in a stronger environment to existing clients and prospects,” he says. “We are pleased to share the space with Protect-A-Bed, a company that shares our core values in how we both do business.”
Protect-A-Bed most recently exhibited in a much smaller location in the Plaza Suites building. “Our new space is nearly three times the size of the previous location and big enough to showcase our popular merchandising display units and interactive racks,” Bell says. “Through hands-on demonstrations of product benefits and features, showroom visitors can experience how Protect-A-Bed products address sleep concerns, which will help them better understand why our products are essential items to carry.
While Protect-A-Bed and Therapedic will have separate product displays and messaging, the combined showroom is an opportunity to reach a shared target market at High Point. “Since we share similar prospects and have an overlapping customer base, we anticipate a good deal of cross-pollination in the space,” Borreggine says.
In addition to product displays, the new showroom also includes private meeting rooms, two lounge areas for customers to relax, and refreshments. During High Point Market, it will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
