More Space Place® Promotes And Adds Staff To Prepare For National Growth

More Space Place® franchise, the Nation’s largest wall bed retailer with 32 Operating Galleries, and 14 more under contract to be built, recently expanded its corporate staff. Recent Promotions: Bart Baker has been promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering. Bart joined More Space Place in November of 2000 as Manager of Manufacturing and Engineering. He brought with him over 18 years of cabinet manufacturing experience, production management, and product research and development. He is responsible for manufacturing, developing and engineering the More Space Place product line. Kathy Rowe has been named Customer Service Manager. She joined MSP in December 2002 as a Customer Service Rep, bringing with her Interior Design and administrative assistant experience. She is responsible for overseeing the weekly order processing, answering customer questions, and assisting with New Store Training. Recent Hires: Gwen Lee, Marketing Manager. She is responsible for providing support to all Franchise owners regarding advertising and marketing projects. Gwen brings with her 16 years of Marketing and Project Management experience. Ed Vasquez, National Sales Manager. Ed is responsible for Company Store sales and developing commercial sales and national accounts. Prior to MSP, Ed was an independent manufacturer’s representative, owned a warehouse distribution center for La-Z-Boy Business Furniture, and owned and operated an office furniture wholesale company. Karen Skop, Franchise Administration Manager. Her responsibilities include franchise administration, legal communications and process development. Previously she was the Director of Corporate Administration for Family Sports Concepts, the Franchisor of Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Family Sports Pubs. Cris Logsdon, Customer Services. Cris will be working with the Logistics and Customer Service departments and assisting with a new system implementation. Coming from the wine industry, Cris brings with her 21 years of shipping, logistics and customer service experience.
