New Officers And Trustees Elected To International Sleep Products Board

The ISPA Board held its first meeting of the year where its 2005-2006 Board was named. David Orders of Park Place Corporation was elected chair, and Bob Hellyer of Simmons was elected vice chair of the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA). David Orders, vice president of administration for the South Carolina based Park Place Corp., has contributed much of his time and effort to enhancing the industry through his involvement with ISPA. He held a seat on ISPA’s Board for the past four years including time as a member of the ISPA Executive Committee. Orders served as both the Finance Committee and the Membership Committee chairs. He also served on the Sleep Products Safety Council board as well as with the ISPA Communications Council. “It is a great honor to be chosen by my colleagues to serve as ISPA's chair,” Orders told the Board, “The mattress industry has many opportunities and challenges ahead, and I look forward to working with the board, staff, and the industry during the year to strengthen our resolve to make the mattress industry strong, viable and viewed positively by all constituents.” “David has proved to be dedicated and steadfast in his work with ISPA, and I believe he will play a critical role in helping ISPA to advance the industry and accomplish its current goals," said ISPA Immediate Past Chair, Tom LeDuc.
