AFMA Marketing Division Elects New Officers And Board Of Directors

The Marketing Division of the American Furniture Manufacturers Association (AFMA) held elections for division Officers and Board of Directors at the Division's summer Semiannual Meeting in Hilton Head, SC. In addition, the division also honored companies with outstanding attendance records at division meetings with the first Citation Awards. The division Officers for the 1997-98 term are as follows: President-Bill Peterson, Sligh Furniture; First Vice President-David Williams, Richardson Brothers Furniture; Second Vice President-Allen VanNoppen, Century Furniture; and Chairman of the Board-John Labarowski, Hammary Furniture. Newly elected members of the Board of Directors are John McGhee of Vaughan Furniture; Jim Adams of Thomasville Furniture; Matt Eddy of Habersham Plantation and Keith Feuerhaken of Flexsteel Industries.
